We decided to hop out of the chaos of Do west fest and into the perfectly beautiful Bar Mordecai. This place is not only aesthetically pleasing, the food was delicious. We had the oysters and a few other shareables but overall the service made for the BEST time. Our girl Tea was so helpful and warm. Gave us some awesome recommendations and made my friends who were visiting from the US a great experience. 10/10 will be back
We went here for my friend’s hen party. The wonderful girl at the front desk made sure we got the lounge, kept other people from taking over, and overall was our CHAMPION. And Dylan? OUR KING. The majority of our group came later than expected but he didn’t make us feel bad for taking up space, just reassured us that it’s fine and waiting for friends is okay. He was so kind and calm the whole time and really made us feel safe. We don’t go out on Ossington/Dundas area often so we felt a bit out of place, but his great attitude was the highlight of our night. We love you Dylan! And the rat boy cocktail was amazing.
Oh what a night! Shout out to our server Miles who did an incredible job with our party of 10 The food was great and the alcohol flowed! This place is a gem for that supper club vibe. As the night moved on, the DJ and throwback hip hop was awesome! Thank you for the incredible experience!
Hosted a birthday party here in the Vegas room and it was just amazing. We were amazed at the huge selection of songs available. Everyone was going on about how great the place is! Our server was also amazing the whole night; I have a few allergies and she was able to keep track of them all and make sure everything was safe, and she was super fast with drinks and food. By the time our karaoke time was up, the place upstairs was opened up for drinking and dancing.
We visited the BLACK LAGOON pop-up bar in October, and overall, it was a great experience. The atmosphere was unique and immersive, with spooky and stylish decor that perfectly captured the Halloween vibe. Karaoke rooms and a menu with a variety of creative food options, though the portions were on the smaller side, so it's something to keep in mind if you're looking for a more filling meal. Despite that, the food was tasty, and the overall ambiance made it worth a visit. If you're into themed experiences, especially during the Halloween season, BLACK LAGOON is definitely worth checking out.
Photos are not doing any justice what so ever to the experience this place provides. Food: blew me away. Must try everything if you can. Drinks: I had a server recommend me a couple of drinks and they were phenomenal. One with mezcal and other one was with tequila and cucumber.
Had my birthday there on Friday and what an experience! Me and my friends all work in the industry and to have our server patiently taking his time with us and explaining everything about their espresso martini was the highlight of our night. If you are looking for nice food, drinks, ambiance and service this is the place! We were all so happy and I had one of my nicest birthdays there, will be back!
